Symphony Energy's outstanding achievements in technology innovation solidify its position as a trailblazer in the Zero Carbon Transition.

Symphony Energy, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, has secured the KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Award for Technology Innovation. This prestigious award was won by Symphony Energy at a gala awards dinner held on Thursday, November 23rd, 2023, at The Convention Centre, Dublin.

The award recognises the innovation displayed at the groundbreaking Smart Optimisation project at 1 Cumberland Place, a Dublin City Centre office building owned by Hibernia Real Estate Group (Hibernia REG). This recent triumph follows closely on the heels of Symphony Energy's success at the 2023 SEAI Awards, where the company won the Sustainability via Digital Technologies in Construction and Buildings Award for the same project.

Tom Ascough, Managing Director of Symphony Energy, expressed his delight at the consecutive wins, saying, "Receiving the KPMG Irish Independent Property Industry Excellence Award for Technology Innovation is a tremendous honour. It underscores Symphony Energy's dedication to pushing the frontiers of sustainable technology in the property sector. This recognition, coupled with our recent success at the SEAI Awards, highlights the transformative impact of our solutions in the industry."

Neil Menzies, Director of Sustainability at Hibernia REG, expressed, "Our recent partnership with Symphony has helped us achieve incredible levels of energy efficiency. We see them playing a key role in our target of becoming a net-zero carbon and climate-resilient business by 2030."

Symphony Energy's Smart Optimisation project at 1 Cumberland Place achieved remarkable results, including a 76% reduction in HVAC energy usage, surpassing the Paris Proof 2030 EUI target for air-conditioned office buildings.

These accolades affirm Symphony Energy's position as a trailblazer in shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.
